Photographs of SSPP luminaries

In preparation for the SSPP volumes of Presidential addresses and other matters of Society history, the archivist would like to receive copies of any photographs you may have relating to these matters. Of particular importance are photographs of past Presidents, but other photographs relating to the history of philosophy and psychology in the South are welcome. Ideally, photographs should be on standard paper and in good condition. However, we also welcome information on sources (archives, books, etc.), old photos in whatever condition currently available, and reproductions. We can make copies of any photograph and promise to treat any loans for this purpose with utmost respect. If you can assist, please contact

Members of SSPP are invited to submit announcements or requests for posting on this page. Readers who can provide information should respond directly to the person who posted the request.

Submissions should follow these guidelines:

• Postings should be related to the SSPP or to research in the fields of philosophy or psychology.
• Postings should be relatively brief (1―2 paragraphs).
• Requests should contain contact information (an e-mail address is preferable).
• Send all announcements or requests to the
